Hibernate option is not enabled in my PC. How can I enable it?

To enable hibernate in windows XP go to control panel from start menu. Open "Power option", at the "Hibernate" tab check mark the "Enable hibernation" and click OK.

To work hibernate properly you need free hard disk space in your root drive at least as much as your memory (RAM).
